Uses for Tonka Beans
Tonka Beans help a person attract love or to solidify a union of marriage. They ward off illness and bring courage to the bearer. But the most interesting part is that they are one of the “Wishing Beans”.
Like Mojo Beans, Tonka Beans are held in the power hand (the hand you write with) while one’s wish is intensely focused on and then it is tossed into an empty field or running water. To make the wish stronger, first carry it in your pocket for seven days and when you toss it in the river, do it over the left shoulder. Say “In the name of the Father, Son and Holy Ghost” and then make your wish. (source: Yronwode)
The field gives the wish a place to grow without interference or… the running river or stream carries it off to where it is fulfilled. Put two Tonka Beans into a white Mojo Bag and feed the Hand Blessing Oil or any type of marriage oil, to anchor and bless the couple. Place that hand under the mattress and pray the Song of Solomon over it, once each month.
