The Light Setting Service is the simplest form of conjure that I do. Light Setting means that I burn ritual candles on your behalf, for your need. Spiritualist churches do this all the time but they don’t call it magick.
There are three sizes of this service:
Small
A small, 4″ or 6″ candle, or a configuration of tea lights, depending on the situation. I use a picture of you (or the person you are praying for). Your petition paper will contain your request. Usually, I write it for you but I might have you write it out.
I dress the candles with special herbs and oils. I pray on your behalf, to an appropriate Deity or Spirit. We want one who is known for granting the types of requests that match your need. I assist you in choosing and most people leave it up to me.
Large
a large, glass, 7 day candle or a specific figural candle. Figural candles have particular shapes, like a man, woman, cat, pyramid, skull, male or female genitalia. They are crosses, 7 knob candles and many other things. Your spell petition gets one performance. I use a photo and hand-write a petition paper, dress the candle and the petition paper with appropriate oils, herbs or powders. I call an appropriate Spirit to help you.
Deluxe
a 7 day working, of a glass, candle or a figural candle, this time with a food and drink offering. Other factors are the same, the petition paper, photo, herbs, oils, powders, etc.
However, for the Deluxe, I use careful, astrological timing. Also, your spell petition gets daily repetitions, until the light burns out. The food and drink offerings are to make it more powerful.
Part of the service is in knowing the proper colors, incenses, the foods that the individual Spirits like, what prayers to say, etc.
