Uses for Wormwood
Wormwood assists the magician in developing psychic powers and is a powerful lucid or prophetic dreaming agent. Some assign it merits of protection and even say it’s good for love spells. It’s most definitely an aid for evoking Spirits and is often included in mixtures for scrying. Also try Oracle Potion. Use Wormwood for its purifying and protective effects, especially when dealing with any spiritual hostility or to dispel negativity.
Use in visionary work and when seeking prophetic visions of the future. Burn wormwood to call helpful spirits or in a graveyard to call upon the dead. Worn in an amulet, it protects against bewitchment and reportedly wards off poisonous snakes. See Cunningham for more on this.
Wormwood is said to protect against accidents. Technically, it is considered to be toxic and should not be ingested, although I have had more than a few cups of Wormwood tea and lived to type the tale. I can attest that it does positively affect my dreams, though your mileage may vary; herb Spirits choose to speak to some people and not others.

Conjure Work herbs, oils, powders and incenses are safe and high quality. However, a small percentage of people will have allergies that even natural, 100% organic substances may aggravate. A substance that is completely harmless and even healthy for one person might cause a slightly allergic reaction in someone with a more sensitive system.
