Uses for St John’s Wort
St John’s Wort is among the top choices for solar magick (see also Rosemary) and it makes excellent oils and tinctures. It finds uses in spells of love and brings happiness of both the romantic variety and in general, buoyancy of mood. Latin name of Hypericum perforatum, you will see it in various places, listed as a natural antidepressant. Some consult with your physician is appropriate before relying on it in combination with any other drugs, since Hypericum may interact with MAOI drugs.
St John’s Wort has a reputation for keeping away any hostile magicks and the unpleasant variety of faries, the nasty ones.
