A premier agent of solar essence, Rosemary embodies all that the Sun implies.
From the Mediterranean, this perennial has needle-like leaves and it blooms in blue, purple, white or pink. Rosemary is great in amulets and adds much power to your spiritual baths and floor washes. It produces fine oils, potions, tinctures and it makes awesome powders.
Multi-talented Rosemary helps both uncrossing work and it even helps in protection spells. Rosemary is of the Sun, Fire, Aries and it’s right at home in the martial arsenal, too. It’s primary association is healing Sol . It aids clarity, mental focus and preserves one’s youth. The Fire and Aries components are useful not only for love spells but also for lust work.
The Sun is powerful for both uncrossing and exorcism work and I use it even more than Mars. Rosemary is one of the sacred herbs in Solomonic magick and it’s among nine herbs in the aspergillum, (Holy Water sprinkler).
Laid beneath beds and pillows, it dispels nightmares and burned with Juniper, aids in healing work. Hung over doorways, protects a home from thieves and would be intruders.
Mildly poisonous in really high doses and therefore, epileptics and pregnant women should avoid the essential oil.
