Using Nettle For Spells

Nettle is a suitable offering or gift to Mars, Ares, Thor or any God/dess of Fire, war or healing.

One sorcerous application for Nettle is this protection amulet you do on a Tuesday, at dawn.

[deeper magickal timing is preferable but at very least, use this method]

Put into a red Mojo Bag the following, five herbs. Some Nettle Leaf, Basil, Red Chili Pepper, Asafoetida and some Witch Salt.

it with these leaves, along with some Lavender, Scullcap, Chamomile and Linden Leaf.

An optional item is to put in some Mars Powder or Fiery Wall of Protection Powder. Also include some of your hair or the hair of whoever it’s to protect.

On a piece of fresh, virgin paper or parchment, draw the glyph of Mars. There are several, potent talismans in the Key of Solomon you can use, as well. See Joseph H. Peterson’s Esoteric Archives for some Mars talismans.

If one has the means or ability, then making these into a small, iron talisman is ideal. Most people don’t have the ability for all that, so try hand-drawing a talisman of Mars (or printing it).

Do this when Mars is strong, in Aries or Scorpio or Capricorn. Consult with me for an astrological election, to get the best possible timing you can.

Dress this Mojo with Mars Oil or Fiery Wall of Protection Oil.

Carry it with you when going to dangerous places or  secure it over the most vulnerable door or window in your home.

Nettle, The Healer

Nettle is immensely helpful for reducing suffering from allergies. It’s one of the ingredients in my Allergy Tonic.

It has properties which act as natural antihistamines. Consult your physician before trying herbal remedies.

Simple Spells

Some traditional witchcraft spells include:

• Throw a handful of Nettle Leaf on a fire, to avoid some impending trouble that might be heading your way.
• Boiling a pot of Nettle and placing it under the bed of the sick restores health more quickly. This is probably because it increases the ability to breath.
• Scattering Nettle around the home provides defense against malefic spells.
