Uses for Lemongrass

Lemongrass is reputed to promote psychic powers and lust. However, its main selling point is that it clears away old conditions and is an excellent herb to use for uncrossing and cleansing work. In Hoodoo practice, anything related to the Lemon variety (even some things which simply have Lemon in the name) are for clearing away unwanted energies. So use Lemongrass in your Uncrossing rituals and for regular cleansing, as a bath or a wash. To use a wash, you make a tea with the herb and then use a white washrag to wipe down altars or whatever you need cleaned.

According to some old sources, it repels snakes as well, which must have been a big concern, as there are several herbs which have this attributed effect.
