La Santisima Muerte Oil (Black), to work with the Black aspect of La Santisima Muerte, The Holy Death.
Known as Santa Muerte, the Holy Death, and as the Skinny Girl, this folk Saint is huge in Central and South America. This Spirit is literally Death and not merely some representation of it. Therefore, tread lightly and utilize the utmost respect and deference of Her.
This particular blend is formulated for working with Her “black” aspect, specifically matters of protection, shielding oneself and family, business, etc from harm.
My recipe for La Santisima Muerte Oil (Black) is carefully crafted it is designed as a general purpose oil to work with Her Black Aspect.
The Black Aspect of La Santisima Muerte
It means that the black aspect is also known for cursing, as well as for protection. Therefore, I have designed an oil which can be used both as a shield and as a sword.
How? The materia magica (spell ingredients) I use in this oil are the type found in spells for both protection and destruction. What separates the two possibilities is the practitioner’s intent. Anoint yourself with this and ask Her for protection… get protection.
Dress a black candle with La Santisima Muerte Oil (black) and ask for protection… get protection. Dress a black candle (carved with an enemy’s name) and ask for them to be handled… She will handle them, at Her discretion, of course.
Always remember that the Spirits are not vending machines. They are entities with whom we build relationships. If they like us, they may help us.
Use With Caution & Compassion
One of the biggest problems in the occult community is that we are all too quick to resort to curses. Likewise, we are slow to assume the best of others and instead, jump right to the worst possible interpretation of words, actions and events.
So, I ask you…. please… do not use this in anger.
Some people will and I cannot help that but others will use it for protection. But if you’re a good person and you’re backed into a corner, this can be a powerful recourse.
First, use diplomacy and be polite, courteous. Try compromise first and if every effort at mercy falls short, then you are justified in calling The Most Holy Death for vengeance. Ask someone who you respect for their patience and wisdom if you are being fair and just and balanced. Above all, wait and let yourself calm down and allow time to help you think clearly. Lets weeks or months pass if possible, before taking drastic actions. But if someone is threatening you or your loved ones with violence, involve the police and if they don’t help, turn to Her.
Charging
I have a large altar for La Santisima Muerte that is sectioned off for the various “colors” or aspects of Her.
The master bottles of these oils are housed on their respective shelves. In this way, they are continually charged by Her presence, through the images (statues, prayer cards, etc) and the offerings to Her.
An example prayer
“Oh, Santa Muerte Negra, beloved Lady of Silence, Senora de las Sombras, She who knows the darkness in my heart and accepts me for who I am.
Oh, sweet protector of lost souls. Shield me from my enemies and season my life with sweetness. You who have power over all living things, do not forsake me as I place my faith in you.
Let my enemies forget me and move on. If they seek me, let me be hidden. Anyone who attacks me, let their attempts backfire and harm only themselves.
Let no one persist in evil actions against me and take whatever actions are necessary to stop them. Cause them to fail, even if that means that you take them from this world.
Let no one be harmed is innocent or uninvolved in these matters. If anyone must be hurt, then please confine the damage to those who maliciously seek the destruction of others for evil reasons.
Thank you for hearing my prayer and for sheltering all the members of my house from harm. Praise to you, La Santisima Muerte”
It’s best to keep such prayers worded generally (as above). In this way, you don’t run the risk of cursing someone, only to find out that they didn’t actually deserve it. We’re all wrong about things, way more than we’d care to admit. Be prudent.
